Hi, I'm Cyndal, a Chef-turned-Sommelier and a hopeless romantic of wine. As a published wine writer, presenter, reviewer, consultant, and judge, I’ve got a fresh, approachable voice with just the right amount of cheek. I’ve hosted masterclasses, media segments, and led panel discussions both across Australia and internationally - bringing energy and clarity to every stage and screen. In my previous role as a Group Sommelier, I led my team to win Gourmet Traveller Wine Bar of the Year just months after opening, among other accolades. Now, I’m freelance, I review for Winepilot, write for multiple publications, and frolic on stage. Most of this happens in Margaret River, my home.
